Very strong westerly and then north-westerly winds are expected to affect parts of Wales, south-west and southern England during Sunday evening and again during the early hours of Monday, easing soon after dawn. Gusts of 50-60 mph are likely inland and 65-75 mph around some coasts. The very strong winds will be accompanied by heavy and often squally showers of rain and possibly hail. Large coastal waves are also expected.
